Belts

There are certain pieces of equipment that are essential when working at height, and belts tend to be one of them. They can provide valuable support and fall protection to prevent the operative from getting too close to fall hazards, and the right options can provide a valuable lifeline in such an environment.

Belts are generally used in conjunction with other pieces of fall arrest equipment, being regularly used with lanyards, harnesses and rope and grab systems to provide valuable protection and positioning ability. They also tend to come with back pads to offer additional lumbar support, ensuring that any operative is both safe and comfortable when working in a hazardous environment. They’re primarily used as a type of restraint – they’re often seen in roof maintenance situations, being part of a restraint system that prevents the user from stepping over an exposed edge.

There are plenty of types to choose from depending on specific industry requirements, and there are even those that come with gear loops to allow tools to be attached. This can provide an additional level of convenience – rather than the operative having to carry the tools themselves, they can simply be attached to the belt to ensure ease of use, safety and practicality in all situations.

As with anything, it’s essential you can find belts of the necessary quality to ensure total protection. That’s why you need to look at our product catalogue, because with options of all kinds and price ranges we’re confident you’ll find what you’re after, and with everything being manufactured to the highest of standards you can be sure of getting the necessary level of quality. We’ve got everything you could need when working in such an environment, so invest in belts and you’ll be one step closer to having the complete system.
